Peer Review

Research published on PokerZeno passes through a structured, blind peer review. The goal is not to police ideas; it's to sharpen them. Reviewers give authors the early second read that lifts a draft into a publishable paper.

The review cycle

  1. Author submits abstract and draft through the submit portal.
  2. Editor triage assigns the paper to two reviewers whose expertise matches.
  3. Both reviewers read blind (author identity stripped) and submit structured notes.
  4. Editor synthesises notes; author receives a consolidated revision memo.
  5. Author revises, reviewers confirm, paper is scheduled and published.

Reviewer responsibilities

Who we look for

Working pros, academics, statisticians, and psychology researchers with poker experience. We particularly want reviewers with published quantitative work, tournament data, or clinical mental-game backgrounds.
